- First 400 debit/credit items processed free monthly. ($.25 transaction fee will apply for each additional debit/credit item over 400 regardless of account balance.)
Business Advantage Plus
Business Advantage Plus is ideal if your business has high deposit activity or if you are interested in earning credits toward your service charges.- $100 minimum opening deposit
- $7 monthly maintenance fee; $.14 per debit posted; $.15 per deposit; $.07 per item deposited
- Earnings credit indexed at 80% of the 90-day T-Bill rate
- Earnings credit offsets monthly account activity charges

On July 21, 2010, the current standard maximum deposit insurance amount (SMDIA) of $250,000 was made permanent. The FDIC coverage limit applies per depositor, per insured depository institution, for each account ownership category. Beginning January 1, 2010, HeritageBank of the South will no longer participate in the FDIC’s Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Thus, after December 31, 2009, funds held in non-interest bearing transaction accounts will no longer be guaranteed in full under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program, but will be insured up to $250,000 under the FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules.
